Matt serves as a Category Lead for Menu Development at Chick-fil-A, a privately held quick-dining restaurant chain with 2014 revenues exceeding $5 billion. His focus is on strategy and execution of projects that relate to Beverages and Breakfast at Chick-fil-A.
Matt started at Chick-fil-A in 2011 and helped get a Cost Reduction initiative of the ground. After 2 years in Cost Reduction, he moved over to the Menu Development group. Prior to Chick-fil-A, Matt spent 8 years in product development for a startup medical device company, CardioMEMS. This company was recently acquired by St. Jude Medical.
Matt attended Auburn University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He later attended Georgia Tech where he received a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Matt and his wife, Mindy, have three children (Thomas, 10; Grant, 7; Mallory, 4). He enjoys coaching his kids in football and basketball and spending time with the family outdoors. Matt is an elder at North Metro Church, a non-denominational church in Marietta, GA.
