The Culinary Institute of America has a limited number of parking spaces available on campus for Menus of Change conference attendees. We encourage conference attendees to carpool whenever possible. A Hyde Park Visitor Parking Map is available at this link for easy navigation.

You are responsible for providing your own transportation to and from the CIA. This includes air and/or ground transportation from your place of residence and daily ground transportation. Attendees can park in the Layer Cake Parking lot, adjacent to the Marriott Pavilion. Click here for directions to the Layer Cake Parking Lot.

When approaching the campus from the south on Route 9, you will pass by a Home Depot on your right, and Marist College on your left about a mile before campus. At the stoplight for Dorsey Lane, turn left into the south entrance onto Campus Drive. Turn right at the stop sign by the gazebo, and proceed down the hill to the LAYER CAKE Parking lot which will be on the right.

If you are approaching from the north on Route 9, you’ll drive through the village of Hyde Park and see a shopping center with a Stop & Shop and Dunkin’ Donuts on the right. There’s a stoplight at St. Andrews Road, and the north entrance into the campus is at the next light. Turn right into campus. At the stop sign, turn left and follow the road around as it bends to the left. Enter the LAYER Cake parking lot through the gate on the left, opposite the entrance to the Marriott Pavilion.

Attendees will be emailed in advance a printable parking permit, you may also download the permit here. Attendees will be responsible to print out and display their parking permit on the dashboard upon arrival to campus.

Handicapped Parking

Attendees requiring handicapped parking will be accommodated. No advanced permit is required, but you must have a valid handicapped permit issued by a state or local authority.  This will allow you to park in designated handicapped parking spaces at The Culinary Institute of America campus.

Because we are tight on parking, we urge everyone to carpool wherever possible.
