Anne Bordier leads the World Resources Institute’s (WRI) work program on sustainable diets which focuses on shifting consumption towards climate-friendly and nutritious food. Through Coolfood, a movement for delicious climate action, WRI leverages the scale and consumer reach of large institutions to serve millions of climate-friendly meals each day and empower consumers to choose plant rich diets. Anne has spent all her career in the food industry, working in diverse roles across market research, consultancy, training, and program management, across the corporate and not-for-profit sectors. This has enabled her to gain a deep understanding of how the food system operates and the challenges it faces. Throughout her career, Anne has built powerful networks and set up several collaborative initiatives with a wide range of stakeholders across industry, academia, NGOs and government. These have focused on issues such as youth employability, nutrition, sustainable diets, environmental labeling, food waste reduction, and sustainable packaging systems. (London, UK)
