Sr. Manager of Health and Wellness and Environmentality for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts
Cheryl Dolven, MS, RD, is a food and beverage leader for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, with a focus on supporting Walt Disney World’s health and wellness initiatives and environmental projects. As a registered dietitian with over 20 years of experience, Cheryl is focused on meeting the evolving nutrition needs of Disney guests and supporting the company’s commitment to conserve resources. Most recently, Cheryl was the senior director of health and wellness for Darden Restaurants where she championed health and wellness across all functions of the organization – including marketing, communications, supply chain, and culinary. Prior to her time at Darden Restaurants, Cheryl spent five years at the Kellogg Company providing strategic direction and nutrition expertise to support execution of business and marketing plans, consumer communication, and health care professional outreach. Early in her career, she worked for two large grocers as a supermarket dietitian, where she talked directly with shoppers and learned just how eager consumers are for information about healthful eating. Cheryl is the co-author of the book, “Recipe Nutrient Analysis: Best Practices for Calculation and Chemical Analysis,” and as a consultant was actively involved in making menu labeling manageable for businesses and meaningful for consumers. Her leadership was recognized in 2014 by the FSR Magazine who named her one of “40 Under 40” rising stars in the restaurant industry. She earned a master’s degree in food science and nutrition from Central Washington University. (Orlando, FL)
