Marisa Christenson '06

Associate Vice President, Food & Beverage Operations and Development, Holland America and Seabourn

Marisa Christenson is the Associate Vice President of Food and Beverage Operations and Development for Holland America Line & Seabourn. She leads shoreside and fleet teams in developing new dining and beverage initiatives, focusing on enhancing the guest experience across all onboard outlets.

A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, NY, Marisa specialized in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management and was selected for the prestigious Fellowship program. Before joining Holland America Line, she spent a decade with Nordstrom Restaurant Division, including managing the New York City flagship restaurant.

Marisa holds a Level 1 Sommelier certification and was part of the opening team for Gordon Ramsay Restaurant at the London Hotel in West Hollywood. She has served as a judge for the 2025 Symphony of Seafood competition and made a cameo on Top Chef Season 21 representing Holland America Line. In February 2026, she was featured in Travel Weekly’s “40 under 40” list, highlighting her leadership in the industry. A Seattle native, Marisa continues to drive innovation and excellence in hospitality. (Seattle, WA)
