Matt Tebbit

Matt Tebbit is head of bars and dining at the University of Reading. He has spearheaded the university’s emphasis on human and planetary health by using the Menus of Change guiding principles and by supporting cross-institutional collaborations for both learning and research. His focus on collaborating with academic colleagues led to Reading becoming the first university from the UK to join the Menus of Change University Research Collaborative and to the BBC commenting on their “remarkable kitchens at a remarkable university’. Matt currently chairs The Universities Caterers’ Organisation (TUCO) Sustainability Group, leading the adoption of Menus of Change across UK Higher Education and sits on the NACUFS Membership Committee. Matt is currently working with academic colleagues at Reading to develop and launch a cross-disciplinary academic team focused on research around MOC themes with industry partners.
