Mike Lee is the Principal Futurist of The Future Market, a consultancy helping food and agriculture companies develop strategies for the next 5 to 50 years. He is also the author and designer of Mise: On the Future of Food, a book of scenarios exploring how today's major forces could reshape what we make and eat across the coming decades.
Through The Future Market and Alpha Food Labs, Mike has built future scenarios and innovation strategies for companies including Danone, Mars, Campbell's, and King Arthur Flour. He previously led product development on the Innovation & New Ventures team at Chobani.
A frequent global speaker, Mike has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Fast Company, and The New York Times, among others. He holds a business degree from the University of Michigan and a design degree from Parsons. He lives in Metro Detroit, where his family has owned Chinese American restaurants for generations.
