Owner, Orchardist, and Cidermaker, Greenpoint Cidery

Greenpoint Cidery is a one-woman project by me, Nika Carlson — owner, grower, and fermenter — and an ever-evolving tribute to the land where I live and work. With apples as a base, I use fermentation to explore its history, and its mercurial beauty and bounty. I grow local wild apples I discovered and grafted into my orchard; support local farmers growing American fruit; and forage fruits, herbs and flowers from the land surrounding my home, all of which make it into my naturally fermented ciders and wines.
