Teresa Fung, ScD, RD, is the Ruby Winslow Linn Professor of Nutrition at Simmons University, and an Adjunct Professor of Nutrition at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. Besides training future dietitians, her work focused on examining the associations between various measures of diet quality and diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, weight change, geriatric fractures, and geriatric frailty.
Dr. Fung received undergraduate and graduate training at Cornell University, and at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. She is also a Registered Dietitian. She was a member of the 2025-2030 Dietary Guidelines for Americans Scientific Advisory Committee. Current, she is a member of an expert panel on a project in AI in nutritional science at the National Academy of Medicine with partnership with Google.
