Thad Parton serves as Assistant Vice President of Food & Beverage at Mather, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to creating Ways to Age Well℠. He leads dining operations across four luxury senior living communities in Illinois, Virginia, and Arizona, overseeing fourteen distinct restaurant concepts as well as health care dining services. With more than 30 years of leadership experience, Thad has built a career at the intersection of hospitality, culinary innovation, and operational excellence. His background includes senior roles with Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Darden Restaurants, the Georgia World Congress Center, and Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry and The Field Museum, where he directed complex, multimillion-dollar foodservice programs. At Mather, Thad advances innovation in concept and menu development, hospitality service models, culinary technology, and workforce training.
