Associate Director of Climate and Food Solutions; Health Care Without Harm

John Stoddard loves food and spends most of his day thinking about what he will make for dinner. When he isn’t meal planning, John leads Health Care Without Harm’s work with the healthcare sector on the intersection between food and climate. In doing so, he works with foodservice to implement plant-forward menus in through the Coolfood Pledge, and to address food waste through participation in the US Food Waste Pact. In previous roles, John worked to support local and regional food systems and started Higher Ground Farm, Boston’s first rooftop farm. He earned his Master of Science from Tufts University’s Friedman School of Nutrition specializing in the Agriculture, Food, and Environment program. (Boston, MA)
